The Current Marketing is a marketing agency aimed to help those navigate their social presence, selling energy-tech innovation, or strengthening your utility’s community trust, they offer integrated solutions tailored to the energy ecosystem.
ES2 BRAND REDESIGN
& PROCESS
Where We Started:
When we first got hired for the rebrand, we were tasked with creating a look to help refresh their current logo, and create a change for their brand that both held meaning to them, and modernized their designs.
The initail breif whey had wanted to encorperate the four elements (earth, water, fire, air), and that they liked scifi elements.
Initial Drafting After Brief:
After the initial brief, I take my notes and start sketching ideas, then I look for references, and vibes and keep sketching. These may or maynot make it into digital drafting.
First Round Of Drafts:
After Initial sketches I presented 6 rought prototypes of directions we could go for logo rebrand styles. I wanted to give variety so I could understand the creative direction they were wanting to go to.
From here I let them articulate bits and pieces that they liked and diliked and the main style they liked out of these.
Second Round Of Drafts:
Here I presented their top pick, with edits, font choices, and more color debates. I also highlighted different background that they would likely see their logo on so they could visualize the use of it better.
In this presentation I gave them some logo choices that were more similar to their current logo as some of the team was hesitant to change. With these, we were able to rule out designing back to the original, and continuing forward with something different from what they had now.
Finalizing:
Our last call we presented the finalized logos, colors, and variations. And annouced the upcoming change for their company.
